antiquus postremo

'antiquus postremo' is latin for "ancient future". ancient-future is a term used by the so-called "postmodern church" or emerging church to envision what the future of the church might look like if we returned to modeling the early church as described in the book of acts. anyway, ancient future for this blog just means that I'm writing about what's happening right now in my life, kind of like saying "yesterday's tomorrow".

These are the voyages of the starship...oh wait, back to reality. I'm living with my parents temporarily. My priority for this season of my life is to become financially independent. My priority right now, this week, is to find a job. I've submitted two applications to work as a caregiver/care provider for people with developmental disabilities and the like. One is an organization that I would work for directly, and the other is a "brokerage" firm that connects potential clients to potential providers. I have an interview at the organization later this week, and an interview with a client through the latter firm also later this week.
